WE Soda Leadership in Washington DC

Our Chair Didem Ciner and CEO Alasdair Warren have been in Washington DC visiting the Wyoming delegation. Senators US Senator John Barrasso and Senator Cynthia Lummis, and Representative Harriet Hageman expressed their continued support for the soda ash industry in Wyoming.

Mrs Ciner and Mr Warren discussed international trade issues including the impact that unfair changes to EU carbon regulation and proposed volumetric limits in India will have on US soda ash exports.

They updated them on WE Soda’s investment in Wyoming, including improvements in safety, labour relations and production volumes, as well as our growth plans in the years ahead.
